About me

Hello ! My name is Kamila and I am a fashion stylist, creative director, fashion educator & founder of Fashion Careers Platform. 

I have been dreaming of working in the fashion industry ever since I remember and I moved abroad from my home country Slovakia at the age of 18 to pursue my dream and study fashion. I started out my fashion journey at the age of 16 when I created my Youtube channel, with the idea of sharing my passion with a global audience. I have been constantly learning about new fashion trends, watching every single fashion show and reading fashion books about the most successful designers. As I was learning more and more about the fashion industry I started to visualise my dream life and there was no going back. Later that year I discovered that what I enjoy actually exists as a career called fashion styling. I found the  courses related to it and applied for a university course abroad. At the time I had no idea that 6 years later I will get the opportunity to style a Hollywood celebrities for a commercial advert !

Throughout my university experience & breaking into the fashion industry I always felt so left out and I didn't know anyone who was just getting started with their fashion career & sharing it with the whole world. This is how Fashion Careers Platform became more than just a social media. I started sharing my fashion journey & fashion knowledge on TIKTOK & Instagram and gained an incredible audience of total 100.000 followers in less than 2 years ! With every single content I have created, I have been inspiring fashion enthusiasts to get started on their fashion journey and my new e-book is the newest addition to a fashion career guidance !
